Sue Ding is an editor based in Los Angeles. She is passionate about experimenting with film form, and crafting creative approaches with a strong visual sensibility.
Her work includes the short documentaries The Claudia Kishi Club, which premiered at SXSW and was acquired by Netflix, and Makeover Movie, which screened at IDFA and was featured in Sight and Sound’s “Best Video Essays of 2023.” In 2023, she was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film.”
Sue edits documentary and branded projects as well as sizzle reels/samples. She has collaborated with clients including PBS, Visual Communications, MIT List Visual Arts Center, SEIU, and more. She works in English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.
